Progress

Ok, here are just a few of the pictures of the house. It doesn't look like much right now but it is so stinkin fun to see it going up and taking shape. These are not the most up-to-date photos, but I thought I would at least post what we have taken so far. The upstairs will be finished this weekend and we are getting the roof started early next week. I also posted some pictures of my kitchen cabinets that are now finished and in storage waiting to be installed! We go by the building site everyday after Jacob gets home from work and we all just love it. Jackson especially likes to go and "work". Oliver and Ava just like getting dirty! There seems to always be hold ups and set backs with building a new home, but we are loving every bit of it!

Oh Canada!

Happy Canada Day (on the 1st)! I wasn't there to spend the day with the kids and Jacob because I was at girls camp. I found these photos on the computer of that day and thought that I would share. Popcorn outside on the bench was a hit! I am doing laundry today and found out how much fun they really had with dad all day...their clothes were crazy dirty. Dad is sooo much cooler than mom!

some things are certain

About a year ago I had posted these two doing their morning "ritual" and it is still their favorite way to start the morning... Jacob with a TIME magazine and Jackson with CAR and DRIVER! We have decided to actually get Jackson his own subscription after we move in to our new house so that he doesn't have to read the same one over and over again! They are too stinkin cute!

Our weekly trip to Maple Bay

We can't get enough of this place and since the weather here is just fabulous we frequent this spot as often as we can. The kids just love the pebbled beach and the water and Jacob and I just love how peaceful it is (and I love the smell of salt water!). Our favorite time to come to the beach is Sunday afternoon after naps...it's a perfect way to end a great day!
