Afternoon Traditions

Well, since I shared Jacob and Jackson's morning ritual I thought that I would share with you their afternoon one. Every day after work and before dinner, Jacob takes Jackson for a walk down the driveway and to the river to throw rocks in the water. They both look forward to this everyday. They talk and just do guy things like pet slugs and beat things with sticks. The other day Jacob asked Jackson who made all these beautiful things (refering to the trees and fields, etc). Jackson didn't answer at first so Jacob said that Jesus made all of these things and Jackson turned to him, looked up, shook his head and said, "No, mommy made all of these things - not Jesus". Too cute.

Rachel,
I was excited to find your blog as a link on the wlkers. It sounds like you guys are enjoying life. Your kids are so darling. My Julia is growing up so fast, time just keeps going and going if we want it to or not, but life is good.

First of all, your family could not get any cuter!! And second, those pictures you took are beautiful! We MUST make a trip out to the isle so we can see it for ourselves AND love on those kiddies. I so call Ava all to myself.

Beautiful area! That would be so fun, I'm jealous. You guys should have horses or something living in country like that! :)
