It's a first...

Jackson finished reading his very first book and it is no surprise that his book of choice is Harry Potter!  To celebrate this happy occasion, Jackson got stay up late with mom and dad and watch the movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone".  We had popcorn, candy and mom and dad had a play by play courtesy of Jackson.  It was awesome!  Good job baby!

Oliver lost his first tooth tonight!  It is a big deal around here because the tooth fairy is very generous.  I can't blame her, look at all those darling faces!

34...

celebrating with all the family that near.
yep I am 34.  I am ok with 34.  I think it is going to be an awesome age (last year in my early 30's)!  I love that I am growing older with my guy all the while surrounded by my babies.  I am one lucky lady... Oh and tomorrow I get to spend the day in Victoria, sans kids, with Jacob...double awesome!

one...

This little darling turned one today.  We hardly can believe it.  This whole day I just wanted to squeeze her 1,000 times and kiss her 1,000 times more and somehow let her know the significance of this day, how special she was and let her feel all the light that she's brought into our lives.  But maybe we'll just let her first taste of chocolate cake do all the talking. ;) We sure do love you lucy goose.  Our family is complete because of you.

Bath Time

Just before, I love holding all that chubby skin!

A little unsure of where mom just placed her.

Distracted by the shiny faucet, works every time!

Priceless!
Ok, I am not sure how this happened, but I haven't taken any pictures of this darling taking a bath (the results of being the 5th child I guess).  And since she will be graduating from the sink to the tub soon I thought that now is as good time as any.  I can't believe how fast she is growing.  Her little "stages" are going by so quickly it makes me really sad and nostalgic sometimes.  She is my baby, my last baby, so with every milestone that she reaches that is the last I get to enjoy as a mother to my own children.  I just wish I could slow time down, with this one, and just take it all in more carefully and slowly so as to never forget how fun and special something as simple as bath time can be.

oh lucy...

This "little thing of beauty", (how her big brother Jackson describes her!) decided to go and turn 3 months old on us and in the process put on a little "chunk" as it is so lovely revered as.  She couldn't be cuter, she couldn't be sweeter!  We love you Lucy girl!

Oliver enjoying the yummy food

We had the opportunity to bless our Lucy when we were in Utah.  The Jeppsen's were gracious enough to let us have this special event in their home.  It was so great to be surrounded by so much family and friends.  It truly was a special day.  Thank you Heather for all of your work to pull this off with so little notice and thank you to all who were able to share this day with us.  It was perfect.
