Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins for FHE on the Monday before Halloween. Jackson thought it was a pretty neat activity. He LOVED being able to use the pumkin knife and saw the jack- o- lantern's face (he loves doing anything that involves a tool!). He didn't find the "stuff" inside the pumkin very fun. He tried taking a little out, but he let dad finish the rest.

Those jack-o-lantern designs are so Jacob . . . very artistic, creative, and clearly wanting to do a really cool design. We were wondering if they celebrated Halloween in Canada. Looks like you all had a blast. Jackson was impressive using those tools. Like daddy like son. See you soon.

Very cool pumpkins. I'm impressed. I didn't have the patience for that one. That's why I recruited Jeff and my sister Ashley for help by then. I cut the tops and gutted them, then I was done!

Love the pumpkins! Jackson is such a "strapping" young fireman -- and how special that Jacob wore that same fireman hat! You guys have a cute family!
