All is well that ends well...right?

Today was just one of those days where I felt discouraged about my "mom" efforts. I got after them more, where I should have stopped and listened. I worried too much about getting the floors in the bathroom sealed than just being with them. We had several melt downs (me included). My focus was just off today, but as I was putting Jackson to bed we had a discussion about the day and I apologized for not being "me", he smiled, gave me a hug and a kiss and told me it was alright and that "we will be better tomorrow, it's ok". Bless kids and their ever forgiving natures. I feel better already.

That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. What a blessing; the innocent perspective of children.

No matter what, I think you're a great mom! We all have days like that. Thank goodness for kids who forgive & forget so easily!

I haven't checked in on you for awhile. Your kids are as darling as ever. It made me a little teary to read about the crazy day - some days are just like that and kids are the best!
